Kia ora Kaelan, well done on completing the Magic Maths challenge for the Summer Learning Journey! How great that you tried out the magic on your Dad. I had to smile that you said he had to use his fingers to skip count! I bet you can just skip count in your head. Are you pretty good at some of your times tables like 2 and 10? It looks like it! I hope that you are having a great start to your holidays. Nga mihi nui, Naomi (Manaiakalani Facilitator)
My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the summer learning journey.
I think this activity is great as it combines two things that I love: maths and magic. This little word problem magic tricks are a great way to make math exciting. It is cool to see that they worked on your dad and you were able to trick each other with your maths magic.
What was something new you learned after doing this activity?
Keep up the good work and I hope to see more of your posts during the Summer Learning Journey!!
